Most Conservative MPs voted against delaying Brexit, including 7 cabinet members Mrs. Their manoeuvre failed by two votes after a week of infighting over strategy. "But we do not think today is the right time to test the will of the house on the case for a new public vote". If it passes, she'll seek a June 30 deadline.

Seven cabinet ministers - Ms Truss, Brexit Secretary Stephen Barclay, International Trade Secretary Liam Fox, International Development Secretary Penny Mordaunt, Commons leader Andrea Leadsom, Transport Secretary Chris Grayling and Defense Secretary Gavin Williamson - voted against the government motion.

If this time they approve her deal, then the delay to Brexit could be limited to three months; if they reject it again, the delay could be much longer and Britain would most likely have to take part in the upcoming European Union elections.

If she wins that vote, she will ask for a one-off extension to Brexit get the necessary legislation through Parliament at an European Union summit on Thursday - if not she could ask for a longer extension.

MPs also rejected a call to hold a second Brexit referendum - a blow to the hopes of a large number of Britons who still dream of keeping their European identity.

The main motion was backed by MPs from across the various political parties, however most Conservative MPs voted against the motion. Options include a long delay, exiting with Mrs May's deal, leaving without a deal or even another referendum.
