The docuseries "Surviving R. Kelly" has sparked a criminal investigation in Georgia.

"Don says several times that Timothy is providing Lifetime with false information, and that he continues supporting the documentary that they (R. Kelly / Don) would be forced to release information disproving Don..."

"There are no underage women, there is no sex cult, it's all some reality TV made up story", Greenberg said.

Foxx called a press conference to make it known that she is willing to look into opening an investigation, but needs the unknown accusers and their families to come forward.

Horrified and disturbed by the findings, Foxx wants to aid victims who seek justice against Kelly and his team of enablers who kept Kelly unscathed by the fire which has yet to engulf him.

Greenberg also said it was inappropriate for a state's attorney to characterize allegations she'd seen on TV, prior to charges or even an investigation.

Foxx said that after watching the series herself, "I was sickened by the allegations".

Meanwhile, in Illinois, Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx requested that anyone who believes they have experienced abuse by Kelly to reach out to her office.

Chicago's top prosecutor is asking possible alleged victims of sexual assault or domestic violence by singer R. Kelly to come forward after the "deeply, deeply disturbing" allegations outlined in the Lifetime docu-series "Surviving R. Kelly".

Police said detectives are investigating the claims in the report. "No one has ever seen any evidence of it".

Foxx said she has been "in contact with" people who have information related to claims in Cook County.

The father told WTSP that another daughter visited Azriel at Kelly's and allegedly noticed bruises on her body.

Savage also called police in May to report that a man named James Mason had threatened him because Savage was trying to reach his daughter, who he said was being held by Kelly, according to a police report. In 2002, he was arrested after a video surfaced appearing to show him having sex with and urinating on a 14-year-old girl. The report doesn't say what the relationship between Mason and Kelly is.

"I believe the documentary has opened up a new era".
