Foxconn partnership will now receive the recently launched and more expensive iPhones, like the iPhone X. From a report, The Taiwanese Company is ready to invest an equivalent of $356 million in the project, which is expected to create more than 25,000 jobs for the populace.

It will be the first time Foxconn has assembled Apple products in the country. The Android camp has seriously upgraded and we now have some flagship Android phones which are up to par with the latest iPhones and are available for half the price.

Foxconn and Apple have neither confirmed nor denied the report as of now. On a side note, the company already manufactures for Xiaomi in the country.

No doubt, Apple is seeing a decline in its overall sales volumes across the world. Their data showed that almost 16 per cent Android users made a decision to switch to a new iPhone following the release of iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

Its sales in India have also been focused on lower-end phones - more than half of its sales volume is driven by models older than the iPhone 8, launched previous year, according to technology research firm Counterpoint.

Flipkart Says New E-Commerce Rules To "Have Long-Term Implications"
Cash-back provided by group companies of marketplace entity to buyers shall be fair and non-discriminatory, it said. A few other brands are keen to continue online exclusivity to avoid confrontation with offline retailers.

It is possible that Apple would also re-start the production of the iPhone X in the Indian Foxconn plant in a move to capture a bigger chunk of India's rapidly growing mobile phone market. However, in India, the new iPhones are way more expensive than the United States - thanks to our country's custom duty charges on imported consumer electronics.

Foxconn has previously admitted the China-U.S. trade spat was its biggest challenge and that its senior executives were making plans to counter the impact.

The iPhone XR unquestionably represents one of the more compelling devices Apple has ever released.

But despite these developments, Apple would be concerned about the declining sales of iPhones overall.
