The remarks from Paris and London will be seen by the USA government as the first sign that its key European partners may yet be persuaded to view Iran's broader behaviour as so unsafe that their support for the 2015 Iran nuclear deal can no longer be justified.

The president withdrew the USA from the 2015 nuclear deal with Tehran that lifted crippling economic sanctions in exchange for a freeze on Iran's atomic weapons program. The agreement does not bar Western powers or the United Nations from imposing additional sanctions on Iran's non-nuclear activities such as ballistic missile tests, support of terrorism, and human rights violations. "It condemns this provocative and destabilizing action", Ministry spokeswoman Agnes von der Muhll said in a statement.

Iran did not confirm or deny that it carried out a missile test, but Tehran has insisted it is not pursuing nuclear weapons and the missiles and not created to carry nukes.

"In Iran's transparent missile and defence policies ... there is no design and plan for having missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads, and there won't be any in the future", Bahram Qassemi was quoted as saying by the ministry's press service. But the separate continued development of Iran's missile programme is unsafe and provocative.

She went on to accuse the global community of turning a blind eye to violations and malign activities of the kind that the Trump administration used to pull out of the nuclear deal, or Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, in May.

He did not confirm or deny Iran had tested a new missile.

Top US and United Kingdom officials have accused Tehran of violating a UN Security Council resolution which endorsed an worldwide nuclear deal. "Increase your capability and readiness as much as you can", Khamenei said in a speech before naval officials, adding that new ships and submarines should serve to extend the Iranian military's influence well beyond the nation's borders and the Persian Gulf. "No UN Security Council resolution has banned Iran's missile program or missile tests", Qassemi said.

"We would like to see the European Union move sanctions that target Iran's missile program", Hook told reporters.

Hook said "progress" was being made on getting North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies to consider a proposal to target individuals and entities that play key roles in Iran's missile program.

Envoys from European countries blasted a current Iranian missile test as conflicting with a chief U.N. Security Council decision as they grapple to retain the Iran deal unharmed amidst USA pressure to get going on Islamic regime.

The American president criticised the deal for not including curbs on Iran's development of ballistic missiles.

The United States decided in May to withdraw from the 2015 nuclear deal and reimpose sanctions on Iran.

On Monday, Iran's oil minister, Bijan Zanganeh, said Tehran aims to help regular Iranians cope with the economic problems created by U.S. pressure.

"We have a legal and religious duty to reduce the income pressure on the people". The more treaties we sign, the safer we supposedly are.
