Over the weekend a video began circulating on social media featuring Halifax Regional Police officer Jordan Sheppard dancing in the middle of the crowded intersection that houses Halifax's Pizza Corner.

Towards the end of the visual, the five-time United Kingdom chart-topper awakes from a dream in his trailer, and references the dance craze: "I had this dream that I made this song, and then this kid from NY did some dance to it. and then the world did the dance".

Shiggy then pops up again, playing a studio assistant doing his best to get Drake to the set. Will Smith, Ciara, DJ Khaled, the Fab Five from Netflix's "Queer Eye", Backpack Kid (whose real name is Russell Horning), the "Stranger Things" cast are all featured in the end credits.

Even the dance's originator Shiggy - who does not jump out of a moving auto in the video to the single - has pleaded with fans to "be safe" telling them they can do the moves anywhere and not just with a vehicle.
