In the case of Kristin Mink, a teacher who was eating with her 2-year-old son in a Washington, D.C. cafe on Monday, she chose to approach Pruitt and politely read a statement to him.

"EPA head Scott Pruitt was 3 tables away as I ate lunch with my child".

Pruitt was confronted inside a restaurant at D.C. when Kirstin Mink, a teacher, walked up to and heckled him, asking if he would resign from his post. Occasionally appearing to refer to notes and speaking calmly, she cites his actions on water and air quality protection and tells him his policies have benefitted corporations over the environment.

Pruitt reportedly failed to reimburse Hupp, so Pruitt's chief of staff, Ryan Jackson, left Hupp $600 in cash in her drawer. Dravis declined, according to her testimony last week before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, but added that Pruitt insisted that whichever job found for his wife top $200,000 in salary.

"I just wanted to urge you to resign, because of what you're doing to the environment in our country", Mink said, holding her 2-year-old son, as her husband recorded the encounter. A manager at Teasim tells the New York Daily News that it is a restaurant that has always been outspoken on environmental issues, making it a surprising choice for Pruitt, though they are "flattered he likes our food".

Department of Transportation. "Who does that?" she asked on the video about the neighbor's decision to call the police. The four kids were just trying to earn some honest money when a neighbour called the police on them.

According to the report, Mink teaches sixth grade at Sidwell Friends School. "He can give his own kids all kinds of financial benefits and different privileges", she said, "but you can't create clean air and clean water, and rebuild the natural resources that he's working to destroy". "This is evident by him listening to her comments and going on to thank her, which is not shown in the video", said an EPA spokesman. "She is an honest broker and a very credible witness", Herman said. "His leaving had nothing to do with the confrontation, he had simply finished his meal and needed to get back to EPA for a briefing".

He is the latest administration official to be confronted while dining by a member of the public who was protesting Trump policies.

And Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen made a quick exit when leftist protesters marched into another Mexican restaurant chanting "Shame!"

"I would urge you to resign before your scandals push you out", she says before the video ends. She also confronted angry activists at her home in the suburb of Alexandria. "I don't know anything about that", Mitchell said.
