Orlando Vargas | 04 July, 2018, 02:13

Fournier's message soon went viral, leading to angry consumers threatening to boycott the company.

A search of Walmart's website for the term Impeach 45 yields 13 results including a baby one-piece that reads "Impeach 45" and an "Impeach Trump" coffee mug.

Walmart is catching fire on social media after shoppers caught sight of a T-shirt being sold through its third-party marketplace that says "Impeach 45", referring to President Donald Trump. Walmart also sold clothing and paraphernalia promoting the impeachment of former President Barack Obama.

Fox News notes that Old Glory is the company that is selling the clothing with "Impeach 45" emblazoned across the front.

The items, sold by third-party seller Old Glory, have since been removed from the website. Other impeach Trump items were also available via Walmart.com, as were items bearing the president's signature "Make America Great Again" slogan. We have reached out to Walmart for comment, and will update this story with more details when the company responds.

People took to Twitter Tuesday morning to voice their frustration over the situation, tweeting #BoycottWalmart. "We're removing these types of items pending review of our marketplace policies", a Walmart spokesperson said.

This is not the first time Walmart has gotten into some hot water for a t-shirt offered for sale. "Tree. Journalist. Some assembly required", on its third-party marketplace.

Teespring had their shirts pulled off the Walmart website days later.
