Time magazine has always known to come up with unique covers of raging issues and this time it's no different.

He saw them only briefly before they were placed in a van with other illegal immigrants and taken to a processing centre.

The image has been seen and shared by millions, as Trump's controversial policy of taking asylum-seeking children from their families and holding them in US foster care-while their mothers and fathers are jailed and criminally prosecuted-draws fierce criticism.

The latest cover of Time magazine has struck a chord in the U.S., capturing national anguish over immigration policy by placing a crying immigrant girl at the feet of President Donald Trump.

The cover features a stone-faced Trump staring down at the now-famous 2-year-old Honduran girl from the viral photo of her crying as her mother is searched by a border patrol agent.

The cover is for the July 2 edition of the magazine, which will appear on newsstands the week of Independence Day.

Brexit defeat for United Kingdom government
A statement will then be given in the House of Commons on what course the government should take in the event of a no deal. The decision by the upper chamber, in effect, rejects a government-backed proposal on a final brexit deal.

The photo of the crying child was captured by award-winning photographer John Moore on June 12. It shows a little girl sobbing while her mother is taken away to be searched.

"It was an emotional moment for me", said Moore, who is a father of three himself. Now - they're detained by border patrol.and could be separated. "As I finished taking these photographs, I had to stop and take a few breaths".

On Wednesday President Trump signed an executive order that he said would end the separation of children from their parents when families cross illegally.

Mr Moore said he told the boy: "It will be OK" and then felt guilty, because he did not know what the child's fate would be. "And I think if everyone involved in this debate sees each other as human beings worthy of respect, ultimately we can find humane solutions". "They often leave with their children with their shirts on their backs".

Anyone who has been following news in the United States recently has probably heard about the turmoil surrounding the separation of undocumented immigrant children from their parents at the southern border of the country.
