The Oppo Find X features pop-up front and rear cameras

Details of the OPPO Find X revealed Oppo says its flagship Find X will have a screen-to-body ratio of above 90 percent

The Find X's design has some potential drawbacks, though they're hard to assess without actually using the phone for some time. The screen has a 1.65mm bezel either side, and a 3.4mm chin at the bottom making for what OPPO says is a 93.8% coverage on the front of the phone.

Under the hood, there's a Qualcomm-made Snapdragon 845 and 8GB of RAM, positioning the Find X above the bulk of the other flagship smartphones on the market in terms of raw power - on paper, at least.

Oppo's new Find X is unlike anything you've ever seen.

Just a week after the Vivo Nex launched with a 91.24% screen-to-body ratio, the Oppo Find X takes the "closest to an all-screen smartphone" title away from it. So when it comes to what you are looking at from OPPO now is actually quite impressive. Some slight variations in price are also possible. Pricing is unknown at this point, as is specific availability.

Disclosure - The writer is in Paris attending the Find X launch on Oppo's invite.

OPPO already has experience in the field of rotating cameras so there should be no issues with the durability of the sliding system though it should be noted that since this is a moving part, it will wear down eventually. The 6.4-inch OLED screen has a resolution of 1080p and is curved along the edges.

Trump threatens to impose more trade tariffs on China
Trump said at the time he would impose even more duties if China retaliated, which the Asian nation immediately said it would do. He said he would pursue additional tariffs on another $200 billion worth of goods, for a grand total of $450 billion.

OPPO has finally launched a new Find-series flagship smartphone that is long due.

Buyers will be able to choose from two color options - Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue. The company might go with the ultrasonic proximity sensor and piezoelectric earpiece for the Find X. The AI assists while clicking portrait photos, and also helps in automatic screen recognition. It's hidden when the phone is off or the camera app is closed, and when you turn on the Find X, the top section of the phone pops up to reveal a 25-megapixel front-facing camera, complete with a 3D facial scanning system. Oppo claims that the 3,400mAh battery on this phone would take 90 minutes to fully charge with the company's standard VOOC charging tech. Users have to visit Oppo's official website to catch the live launch event.

The Oppo Find X price is €999 (around £870, $1,100, AU$1,500) for the 256GB model.

We know for sure that the phone has an all-display front.

The Oppo Find X is a feature-packed, premium smartphone with all the bells and whistles to ensure it fits in with the best phones from Apple, Samsung and co.

OPPO says the Find X will also be sold in the U.S. There's no word when, or if it's going to arrive at all in the Philippines, but we're confident that the company will bring it here sooner than later.
