Miles' 5-year-old daughter, Abigail, and Joshua Lew, 20 months old, were killed when a woman reportedly had a seizure behind the wheel of a vehicle which rolled into a crosswalk and struck the pedestrians.

Award winning actress, Ruthie Ann Miles has tragically suffered a miscarriage, just weeks after her daughter was killed in a vehicle accident in March.

A statement from Ruthie and her husband Jonathan Blumenstein on the fundraiser read: 'We wish we could personally thank each and every person in this great community.

"The pain suffered by Ruthie and [her husband] Jonathan is almost impossible to fathom", read the statement from Rubinowitz, a personal-injury attorney representing the family.

It's now been confirmed that, sadly, Miles has lost the child.

Ruthie Ann Blumenstein, the pregnant Brooklyn mother whose child was killed after being struck by a driver who ran a red light in Park Slope in March, has lost her unborn child, her family's lawyer told the New York Daily News Wednesday.

And Miles's family filed a separate civil suit against Bruns, according to Rubinowitz, who said he expects the death of the actress's unborn child to affect the case.

Broadway star Ruthie Ann Miles is facing another tragedy. Abigail, Miles' daughter, and Lew's 1-year-old boy, Joshua, were both killed in the crash.

The driver told police she had experienced a seizure at the time of the crash.

Bruns, 44, attempted to flee after the incident, dragging Joshua Lew's stroller down Ninth Street until she crashed into several cars and was detained by witnesses.

The alleged driver, Dorothy Bruns of Concord, was indicted by a Brooklyn Grand Jury on charges that included manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, reckless endangerment, assault, reckless driving and disobeying traffic signals.
