The first lady underwent an embolization procedure on Monday at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Two urologists who have no personal knowledge of Melania Trump's condition said the most likely explanation for the embolization procedure is a kind of noncancerous kidney tumor called an angiomyolipoma.

She is at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland, just outside Washington.

The president told reporters at the Capitol earlier Tuesday that his wife, Melania, is "doing really really well" but did not comment further on her condition.

Fox News medical correspondent Dr. Marc Siegel discusses first lady Melania Trump's kidney surgery. "Thank you for so much love and support!" tweeted Mr. Trump.

Mrs. Trump was probably being kept in the hospital longer because of her position. Successful procedure, she is in good spirits.

President Trump took off from the White House late Monday afternoon in Marine One, the presidential helicopter, to visit his wife in the hospital.

The 48- year- old underwent an embolization procedure and is expected to be hospitalized for the rest of the week. Or they said it could be that she experienced symptoms of some sort, like noticing blood in the urine or experiencing back pain or stomach pain.

Last month, she took the lead in planning the first state dinner of the Trump administration, welcoming French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, to celebrate almost 250 years of U.S.
