UK and US accuse Russia of cyber attack that compromised global networks UPDATE 4-US, Britain blame Russia for global cyber attack

On Friday Trump said, "We are prepared to sustain this response until the Syrian regime stops its use of prohibited chemical agents". They are expected to start their investigations into the Douma incident on Saturday, the Netherlands-based agency said.

US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley stated Friday that chemical weapons were used in an attack in Syria that left scores dead and she blamed Russian Federation for complicity, as the Trump administration continues to weigh how to retaliate and Russian Federation maintains its denial that the attack took place.

Speaking of Assad and his suspected role in last week's chemical weapons attack, Trump said, "These are not the actions of a man".

Britain and the United States said they issued the new alert to help targets protect themselves and persuade victims to share information with government investigators so they can better understand the threat.

White Helmets first-responders and Syrian activists have claimed the suspected chemical attack was carried out by the Syrian government on April 7 and killed more than 40 people in Douma, allegations that drew global outrage and prompted Washington and its allies to consider a military response.

Teresa May, #Donald Trump, and Emmanuel Macron are to discuss taking military action against Syria.

What is less clear is whether sarin - the agent used in the chemical attack last April that prompted U.S. missile strikes - or a similar agent was also used.

"This is the first time that in attributing a cyber attack to Russian Federation, the USA and the United Kingdom have, at the same time, issued joint advice to industry about how to manage the risks from attacks".

West hesitates on Syria response as Russian Federation warns of 'war'
The government, however, said evacuations from Douma were ongoing and no Syrian government forces had entered the town. The United States claimed to have met its obligations, while Russian Federation said it could not confirm.

The official claimed that as a result of the Russian pressure to comply with an invitation made by the Syrian government itself, the specialists of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons are preparing to travel to Syria.

Trump himself appeared on Thursday to cast doubt on at least the timing of any US -led military action, tweeting: "Never said when an attack on Syria would take place".

But US Defence Secretary Jim Mattis struck a cautious note, telling lawmakers that the need to "stop the murder of innocent people" had to be weighed up against the risk of things "escalating out of control".

Both Russia and Iran, Assad's other main ally, have warned his enemies against military action in recent days, underlining their commitment to the Syrian government they have armed and supported through years of conflict. British officials said up to 75 people were killed.

Ciaran Martin, chief executive of the UK's National Cyber Security Centre, said his country have been tracking the activity for close to a year and can independently verify the campaign and its attribution to the Russian government.

Tuesday: Nebenzia told the U.N. Security Council that images and videos of children foaming at the mouth and dying were fake. Johnson said: "The world is united in its disgust for any use of chemical weapons, but especially against civilians".

"When we see malicious cyber activity, whether it be from the Kremlin or other malicious nation-state actors, we are going to push back", said Rob Joyce, the White House cyber security coordinator. That clinched a huge victory for Assad, crushing a long rebellion in the eastern Ghouta region near the capital Damascus. USA officials had earlier said that Trump had pressed for a more aggressive US strike against Syria than his military chiefs had recommended.

Russian Federation and Iran have warned the U.S. and its allies of grave consequences following America's attack on a Syrian "chemical weapons sites", in collaboration with United Kingdom and France.
