To share a 360 photo, select the image as you normally would in Facebook Messenger and the app will convert it to an immersible format. You can now send videos from your camera roll, newsfeed or even from another message thread through Messenger. In both cases, you'll have to capture the photo or video outside the Messenger app, the company notes. Facebook has also updated its News Feed to help users assess if the stories they stumble upon are trustworthy and legit. However, if the HD footage has been captured in advance it can then be sent using Facebook Messenger. "Thats why today, we are introducing the ability to send 360-degree photos in Messenger", they stated. You can not just shoot a clip in HD straight from the Messenger interface.

360-degree panoramas can be differentiated from regular photos by a "Compass" icon that appears next to the photo, AndroidCentral reports. HD quality videos are available in Australia, Britain, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Japan, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, South Korea, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and the United States on iOS as well as Android. Panoramic photos give an immersive view of landscapes and natural sceneries, so the new feature will come in handy when users want to show their friends the handsome place they are now visiting or have visited.
