South African fan kicked out of Test after confronting Warner

As Warner trudged off the field, a spectator heckled him and the pair exchanged words despite the presence of a security guard.

Warner, sitting on three demerit points and only one further indiscretion away from a one-Test suspension, would not be baited into a response he would regret, though, and a repeat of Merv Hughes' notorious clash with a fan at the Wanderers in 1994 was avoided.

Australia's vice-captain David Warner was involved in a heated exchange with a spectator as he walked off the ground after his dismissal by Kagiso Rabada on day two of the third Test in Cape Town.

As he walked back to the pavilion, one of the South African fans said something to him, which made him turn around.

However, Rabada eventually had the last laugh as he dismissed Warner (he scored 30 in 14 balls).

David Warner's tour of South Africa has certainly been odd. In the next, he hooked a huge six over the backward square leg boundary.

But after enduring the body blows, Rabada hit back with a ripper that uprooted Warner's off-stump.

"We can't control that (fan behavior), unfortunately", said South Africa player Morne Morkel, who is in the intriguing position of being married to an Australian.

He was then laid out in chilling fashion by Whyte, who called out both Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua after his latest victory. He added: 'Deontay Wilder, where you at, let's go. let's do this, June, live at the O2!' "It proved to everyone I'm world class".

The Australians were going at almost six runs an over in the first session, due mainly to Warner.

Vernon Philander may be an excellent bowler, but he has never been the most nimble in the field, and the South African opening bowler was exposed in the afternoon session, only to fall awkwardly.

Morkel captured Shaun Marsh caught behind for No. 300 in test cricket and celebrated the milestone excitedly as his worldwide career approaches the end. He broke out of a team huddle to pump his fists and then looked up at the sky.

That brought Lyon and Paine together and the spinner swung hard, taking the game on and riding his luck - he was dropped twice - to hit eight fours in a 38-ball cameo.

Match referee Andy Pycroft raised the incident with officials from the venue operation centre and the man, who was an invited guest of a Western Province Cricket Club member, was removed from the ground.

The event comes less than three weeks after Warner was involved in a verbal slanging match with Proteas wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock in Durban, sparked by a comment about Warner's wife Candice. It resulted in de Kock allegedly retorting with an unsavory comment about Warner's celebrity wife, and Warner having to be physically restrained by teammates.

Cricket contests between Australia and South Africa have crossed the line before this series, although this one has been particularly ill-tempered.
