Speaking with Vogue at Paris Fashion Week, Posh Spice said: "I'm not going on tour".

Fans couldn't contain their excitement, with many begging the former girl group to reveal whether they are reuniting or not. We had such a fun lunch.

"The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together", the Spice Girls shared last week in a joint statement, confirming their new reunion. It was really, really, really lovely.

Well, according to The Sun, the reason behind all the hushed meetings and excitement is that the Spice Girls WILL be returning - however in the form of a popular TV singing competition.

British fashion designer Victoria Beckham poses as she arrives on 11 May 2016 for the opening ceremony of the 69th Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, southern France.

Their show wouldn't just air in the United Kingdom, with ambitious plans to hold heats in countries across the world.

Sadly, we'll just have to make do with their social media updates! "The girls aren't going on tour", yesterday.

The planning is still in the early stages, but everyone is fully committed and the tour is going to happen. I still speak to them all individually, but for us all to get together was really lovely.

"I think there's so much that the brand can do, and it's such a positive message for young kids", she concluded suggesting that Spice Girls may become something larger than themselves.

She selected an imposing Upper East Side Beaux Art mansion, which she called a "more intimate space (that) allows for the construction and details of the garments to be seen from a new perspective".
