The Boston Celtics honored Paul Pierce by retiring his jersey after their game versus the Cleveland Cavaliers Sunday night.

As much as it might have been a festive environment early for the home team, LeBron absolutely laid the smack down on Boston. But when the Cavaliers raced to a 27-point lead halfway through the final quarter the crowd couldn't hold back chanting "We want Paul Pierce".

On the season, the Celtics are averaging 102.9 points, 44.3 rebounds and 22.0 assists per game.

James scored 13 of his 24 points in the second quarter. Clarkson led the four in scoring with 17 points, while Hood and Hill chipped in with 15 and 12. The Celtics made it 64-55 on the first basket of the third quarter but never even got close for the rest of the game. After receiving treatment on his right leg he returned with nine minutes left in the half and immediately picked up where he left off.
