Wenger defends Aubameyang against Dortmund CEO accusations

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted that Henrikh Mkhitaryan, his former Borussia Dortmund teammate, was a key to his making the Arsenal switch.

Petit, a former France worldwide said, "Lacazette is under massive pressure".

Both Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan are up and running in Arsenal colours, with the former benefitting from one of three assists contributed by the latter during a 5-1 mauling of Everton.

"Lacazette is under massive pressure".

Gunners legend Emmanuel Petit believes his Arsenal career is already as good as over, and needs to step up his game if he doesn't wish to be offloaded in the summer.

And he is the seemingly obvious man to be preferred in attack by Arsene Wenger, as Lacazette continues to flatter to deceive.

"He asked, 'Will you come or not?' I said, 'First, you have to tell me if you sign or not.' He told me all was done and, of course, it was a big factor in coming here".

GETTY Pierre Emerick Aubameyang scored on his Arsenal debut on Saturday

"After six months his statistics are not exactly tremendous".

The Frenchman, who was speaking exclusively to BT Sport ahead of Saturday's north London derby with Tottenham, said: 'Sanchez, for him it was very hard because as soon as he had a game that was average he was questioned about his commitment and that is not his case.

One player who has also been talking about leaving his club is Wayne Rooney.

"You do not have to understand too much". So he played only one game at home, where they played a 2-2 against Werder Bremen [sic, Freiburg].

Basically, we should have a similar squad to what we had last week against Everton.

If he stays right at the top there and [they] let him get on with it, then why do you want touches when you've got Özil, Mkhitaryan and all those players?

Aubameyang's impact was even more impressive given he had only two 45-minute training sessions and was battling an illness ahead of his debut.
