Nissan has used the Chicago Auto Show as an opportunity to unleash the Nissan 370Zki - it's pronounced 370 ski, get it? - snowmobile/concept vehicle. At the Chicago Auto Show, Nissan created a snow globe for its display and will also have Star Wars vehicles.

To help light up the road, the Armada Snow Patrol also gets a roof mounted DR36 double row LED light bar, plus a pair of grille-mounted 5-inch LED round motorsports lights.

The 370Zki made its maiden voyage on the slopes of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, ahead of its debut, and Nissan documented the fun in the video above. The crew there removed the entire drivetrain from a standard 370Z to make room for the rubber tracks at the rear and skis up front, and installed a 3-inch lift kit.

The auto has rear Dominator tracks from American Track Truck Inc. Next came fabrication of custom mountings for the rear suspension springs and three inch custom spacers to mount the snow tracks to the wheel hubs. Even with the extra ride height, Nissan had to modify the rear wheel wells to add clearance for the tracks.

The organisation now opines that the film glorifies the bravery of Rajputs and hence they won't protest against it anymore! On an other front, the Karni Sena who was hell bent on banning the film has surprisingly backed out of their own protests.

Up front, the suspension has been modified for a three-inch lift and the front tracks have also been supplied by American Track Truck, Inc and adaptors have been added to fit the the skis. The adaptors were mounted with spacers to the stock wheel hubs, with a front skid plate fitted to the vehicle to prevent damage during snow runs. Furthermore, the auto company also attached a custom wrap while also tinting the headlights yellow, making them look like ski goggles.

The Nissan 370Zki will feature its factory breaks.

The Nissan 370Zki will be on public display at the 2018 Chicago Auto Show, which runs February 10 through February 19 at Chicago's McCormick Place. However, as the Armada Snow Patrol has been upgraded using shop bought parts, it is not unrealistic to think that private individuals in the United States could will recreate the look.
