Turkey issues travel warning for citizens visiting US in retaliatory move

In response to a travel warning by the USA government to Turkey, Ankara has warned its citizens against traveling to the United States.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry said Friday that Turks travelling to the U.S. would be at risk of terrorist attacks and "arbitrary arrests", which could also hit state officials on business trips.
"We observe an increasing number of terror plots and acts of violence in the United States", said a statement from the foreign ministry on Friday, 12 January.
