Hollywood star Tom Cruise appeared to have suffered an apparent injury while filming a stunt for the action-thriller "Mission: Impossible 6", reports said on Sunday.

Footage of the stunt, in which the 55-year-old actor takes a running jump between two building rooftops, has leaked online.

Cruise is known for doing his own stunts.

In Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, Cruise filmed a sequence as he hung from A400 plane in mid-air.

Fortunately, it's being reported that he was able to return, where he finally jumped to his original mark and apparently finished filming the scene. Cruise then pulls himself up the side of the building, attempting to continue the action, but he quickly stops as he limps a few steps, momentarily dropping to his knees next to the camera crew.

"Plus, you want to live through it".
