An 18-wheeler carrying a load of pigs crashed during rush hour early Thursday morning on an interstate in Texas, according to affiliate KTVT. The driver of the big rig was able to get out before the fire and wasn't injured.

The crash involved two 18-wheelers and a auto.

The truck, which tipped onto its side in the crash, was transporting pigs, which scattered on the road. One group of pigs made made it a half mile away from the scene of the crash.

Typically when someone says they were "stopped by the pigs", they are likely giving a slandering reference to police officers.
