The starting bid was $100,000, but as of Monday at noon Arizona time, the high bid was $505,446, meaning it will be the highest-priced sports championship ring ever sold, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.

In addition to the championship ring, Sheen will also auction the contract that sent The Bambino from the Boston Red Sox to the New York Yankees in 1919.

The ring is now selling for $505,446 while the sales agreement is at $345,226.

Charlie Sheen has made a decision to put some of the world's most coveted baseball memorabilia on the market.

Charlie Sheen hasn't portrayed Babe Ruth in a film, but the actor did have two of the most prized items of Ruth memorabilia. 'Whatever price it brings is gravy'.

Lelands auction house has the unique items and bids have so far reached $600,000 for the ring and $400,000 for the letter. He liked when people noticed the items in his home and would talk about how the Red Sox sold Ruth after the 1919 season for $100,000 and a $300,000 loan. The sale document - which was the copy owned by Yankees owner Jacob Ruppert - now sits at more than $345,000.

Sheen made a public statement about his decision to sell his awesome memorabilia.

In addition to completing what Lelands' website described as "the most important transaction in sports history", Ruppert's tenure also included the building of Yankees Stadium and the team's first World Series win in 1927. The items were framed and kept in great condition, which Sheen says was better than what he saw at the Baseball Hall of Fame.

There were three copies of the Ruth contract. The Red Sox's copy most recently sold for $996,000 in 2004.

Sheen said his one wish is that they get into the hands of a collector who enjoys them as much as he did and can share them with the world.
