Morata has been restricted to a back-up role since his return to the Santiago Bernabeu last summer but has nevertheless enjoyed the most prolific campaign of his career, notching 20 goals in all competitions as well as providing six assists.

Morata has been heavily linked with a summer move to Chelsea, whilst Manchester United are also believed to be interested in signing the Spaniard. Apart from Morata, United are targeting Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappe and Dries Mertens in the next summer transfer window.

However, Morata is a fan of Antonio Conte and could reunite with him at Chelsea. It claims that Morata could be a replacement for want away forward Alexis Sanchez, who has so far refused to sign a new deal at the Emirates.

Along with the similarly under-utilised James Rodriguez, Morata has come to form part of an unofficial "B Team" at Real, who recently have been picking up the slack in La Liga while the "A Team" takes care of UEFA Champions League duties.
