Real Madrid midfielder Isco rubbishes transfer rumours linking him to arch-rivals Barcelona after a social media faux pas involving a Barca-branded packet of crisps.

Isco sent that speculation into overdrive on Thursday when he posted a picture with friends that featured a Barcelona-branded packet of potato snacks on the table. Soon afterwards, the picture was removed and replaced by another one, nearly the same, but without the crisps.

Real Madrid midfielder Isco has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months, and now it seems that's all changed.

"Actually, I didn't even try them", he wrote. "It was my friends, [who wanted to] put me in it".

Isco himself has said a couple of times that he is not sure what will happen, and he plans to think about the situation at the end of the current campaign.
